Paper Plate Clock

Nina shows you how to make a clock using arrows and a paper plate. You can practice changing the time all the time!

Supplies

  • Paper plate
  • Construction paper
  • Markers
  • Safety scissors
  • Metal fastener

Instructions

  1. Ask a grown-up to help you write the numbers of a clock around the outside of the paper plate.
  2. Ask a grown-up to help you draw two arrows on the construction paper, making one arrow longer than the other, and cut them out.
  3. Make a hole near the end of each arrow and in the center of the plate.
  4. With the help of a grown-up, attach the arrows to the middle of the paper plate with the metal fastener.
  5. Move the hands around the clock and practice telling the time!
