Supplies

• Sponge
• Drinking straw
• Construction paper
• Tape
• Safety scissors

Instructions

1. With the help of a grown-up, cut the sponge into any shape you want.
2. Ask a grown-up to help you cut a triangle with one long side, one short side and a long diagonal side out of the construction paper.
3. Tape the long side of the triangle to the straw to create a sail.
4. Ask a grown-up to cut a hole in the center of the sponge and place the straw in the hole you made.
5. Put your boats in water and have fun sailing!
