Airplane

Supplies

• One box, large enough to sit in
• Cardboard
• Three paper plates
• Glue
• Decoration for plane: construction paper, paint, crayons or markers, and anything else you want!

Instructions

1. Ask a grown-up to fold in or remove the flaps from the box, and to cut a hole large enough for you to sit in.
2. Trace out wings on cardboard and ask a grown-up Sprout to cut them out for you.
3. Glue the wings to either side of your box.
4. Decorate two of the plastic plates as wheels.
5. Glue them onto each side of your plane under the wings.
6. The last paper plate is your steering wheel.
7. Glue it in front of your Captain’s seat.
8. Now decorate your plane any way you want! Use tinfoil to make headlights, and use crayons or paints to add color
