Nina shows you how to make a birdfeeder out of a pine cone covered with peanut butter and birdseed to help feed the birds!

Supplies

  • Pine cone
  • Peanut butter
  • Birdseed
  • Plastic knife
  • Paper plate
  • Yarn
  • Safety scissors

Instructions

  1. Tie a piece of yarn onto the top of the pine cone, making a loop (you’ll use it later to hang your pine cone from a branch).
  2. Spread peanut butter onto the surface of the pine cone.
  3. Spread the birdseed out onto a plate and roll the pine cone in the birdseed. Make sure to cover the entire pine cone.
  4. Hang the pine cone birdfeeder on a tree branch for some hungry birds, and listen to them chirp with delight!
