Friendship Cape

Friends are like heroes because they help you out in so many ways! Make your friend a cape to show them just how special you think they are!

Supplies: 
  • 1 pillowcase
  • 2 clothespins
  • Construction paper, plain or colored
  • Markers, crayons, glitter, or any other craft materials (sequins, stickers, pom poms, glitter)
  • All-purpose white glue or tape
  • Safety scissors
Instructions: 
  1. Using safety scissors, cut the pillowcase down the sides so that it becomes one long sheet.
  2. Draw symbols or pictures that remind you of your friend on paper, anything that makes them extra special.
  3. Using safety scissors, cut out the pictures and glue them to the back of the cape.
  4. Put the cape around your shoulders and use clothespins to loosely fasten.
  5. Now have fun wearing your creation in honor of your very own super friend or give it to them as a present!
