    • Sprout’s Preschool Weather reporter visits Sprout

      Preschool Weather

      Maddyx Poulin, 4, from Lake St. Louis, MI, visited Sprout's offices in Philadelphia on April 16, 2010.  Maddyx was the winner of Sprout's Preschool Weather Reporter Contest which occured in the fall of 2009 during our Sprouterrific Playdate that took place in malls nationwide.  Maddyx's entry was selected among the thousand entries that we received during the mall tour.  As part of Maddyx's grand prize, she had the chance to appear on  The Sunny Side Up Show  and showcase her weather skills with Kelly and Chica the Chicken. 

    • Kelly and Chica visit The Comcast Center Market

      Kelly and Chica from The Sunny Side Up Show visited The Comcast Center Market on Saturday, March 13th, as part of the KidsinCenterCity event.  The pair were on hand reading stories to the preschool audience and over a hundred kids waited in line for a special meet and greet with the hosts.

    • Mr. Mailman Contest Winner Visits Sprout

      Ian Piet, 4, from Tinley Park, IL, visited Sprout's offices in Philadelphia on October 12, 2009.  Ian was the winner of Sprout's Mr. Mailman Summer Adventures Contest which took place in the summer of 2009 and encouraged families to submit photos of their child's summer adventure with Mr. Mailman.  Ian's entry was selected among the eleven hundred entries that we received during the contest.  As part of Ian's grand prize, he had the chance to visit The Sunny Side Up Show and meet Sean and Chica the Chicken.

    • Sean and Chica the Chicken sing Happy Birthday to the Comcast Center

      Hosts of Sprout's live  Sunny Side Up Show, Sean and Chica the Chicken made a special appearance on the plaza of the Comcast Center on July 24, 2009 to sing Sprout's special "Happy, Happy Birthday To You" song live on NBC's 10! Show.  The eco-friendly Comcast Center was celebrating its first birthday and NBC was on hand to cover the festivities.  

    • Kevin and Chica the Chicken visit the World Champion Philadelphia Phillies

      Kevin and Chica the Chicken, hosts of  The Sunny Side Up Show, made a special visit to Citizens Bank Park on June 18th, 2009.  They presented the Phillie Phanatic, with a Good Egg Award in recognition of the team's hardwork and good sportsmanship.  The hosts also had a chance to talk with All-Star Phillies outfielder Shane Victorino, and learn what it means to be a good sport and how to play baseball.  The special segment will air during Sprout's Good Sport week (July 27th-31st) and can also currently be seen atwww.SproutOnline.com

      Mikey Letts, 4, from Tampa, FL, visited Sprout's offices in Philadelphia on June 17, 2009.  Mikey was the winner of Sprout's Preschool Weather Reporter Contest which occured in the fall of 2008 during our Sprouterrific Playdate that took place in malls nationwide.  Mikey's entry was selected among the thousand entries that we received during the mall tour.  As part of Mikey's grand prize, he had the chance to appear on  The Sunny Side Up Show  and showcase his weather skills with Sean and Chica the Chicken. 

    • Sean and Chica from The Sunny Side Up Show visit Our Mother of Sorrows School

      Mother of Sorrows

      Sean and Chica from Sprout's The Sunny Side Up Show made a special visit to Our Mother of Sorrows School in West Philadelphia on January 29, 2009.  Sean read  Mouse Mess  to the kindergarten class while Chica, who dressed up like a mouse, interacted with the kids during the reading.

    • Sprout Stars Visit Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House

      Sprout Stars

      Kelly Vrooman and sidekick  Chica the Chicken  from The Sunny Side Up Show made a special visit to the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House (PRMH) on August 14. They did a special book reading with families, and all children received coloring pages designed just for PRMH.
