Hi there! We made some recent changes to the Sprout Privacy Policy because, as the newest member of the NBCUniversal family, we decided we should look and feel like the rest of the crew. So what’s new, you ask? For starters, you’ll notice the NBCUniversal overall policy contains new children’s sections for Sprout and our new Universal Kids site, including descriptions of when and how we may collect data from kids. We also added updated contact information in case you want to reach out to us. Our goal is to make the sections directed towards kids both easy to read and understand, and we think we’ve done a great job. And we hope you do too!

    TAGS: 2-3 Craft

    What You´ll Need

    • 1 large toe sock
    • 3 adult sized socks
    • 2 baby socks
    • 2 buttons
    • Felt
    • Fabric glue
    • Scissors
    • Hair tie
    • 5 cotton balls

    1. Gather all materials.

    2. Stuff a cotton ball into each toe of the toe sock.

    3. Roll up another adult sock and stuff inside to form the head.

    4. Slide a cloth-covered hair tie down the outside of the sock to separate the head and body segments.

    5. Make a larger sock ball and stuff inside to form the body.

    6. Fold the excess cloth up inside the body.

    7. Take two matching baby socks and fold over the hair tie to make the wings on each side of the body.

    8. Glue on two button eyes and a felt beak.

    9. For “extra feathers” around the neck, add a frilly hair tie.
