Hi there! We made some recent changes to the Sprout Privacy Policy because, as the newest member of the NBCUniversal family, we decided we should look and feel like the rest of the crew. So what’s new, you ask? For starters, you’ll notice the NBCUniversal overall policy contains new children’s sections for Sprout and our new Universal Kids site, including descriptions of when and how we may collect data from kids. We also added updated contact information in case you want to reach out to us. Our goal is to make the sections directed towards kids both easy to read and understand, and we think we’ve done a great job. And we hope you do too!

    What You´ll Need

    • Yellow and black construction paper
    • Tape
    • Glue
    • Black pipe cleaners
    • Yellow pom-poms
    • Googly eyes
    • Dark marker (optional)

    1. Gather all materials needed.

    2. Cut out two hearts from the yellow paper and four hearts from the black. Try to make all of the hearts the same size.

    3. Arrange two yellow and two black hearts in an alternating pattern to form the body of the bee. Glue the hearts together.

    4. Use the remaining two black hearts to form the wings. Attach with glue to the back.

    5. Glue the yellow pom-poms to the end of the pipe cleaners. Then, tape them behind the head to make the antennae.

    6. Glue on googly eyes or draw on a face with the dark marker.
