Ingredients: 
  • 6 slices whole grain bread
  • 1 can tuna packed in water, drained
  • 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup spring onions, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Instructions: 
  1. Toast the bread.
  2. Combine tuna, celery, mayonnaise and spring onions. Mix well.
  3. Spread one-sixth tuna mix evenly over each piece of toast.
  4. Place on a baking tray.
  5. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
  6. Broil until the cheese has melted and is starting to turn golden.
  7. Remove from the broiler and cut each diagonally into 4 to resemble kites.
  8. Arrange on plates and add long green onions for the kites' tails and halved vegetable slices for ribbons

 Note:  Carrots and celery can pose a choking hazard for younger children.
