Supplies:
Xylophone
- 1 cardboard tube (from roll of wrapping paper), cut into 6 pieces (7-inches, 5 1/2-inches, 4 1/2-inches, 4 inches, 3 1/2-inches, 3-inches)
- 2 16-inches by 2 1/2-inches cardboard rectangles
- 6 different colors of construction paper, one piece of each
- All-purpose white glue
- Safety scissors
Mallets
- 1 pair of chopsticks
- 20 small black fuzzy balls
- All-purpose white glue
Instructions:
Xylophone
- Take your six cardboard rolls and glue a different color of construction paper around each one.
- Glue the six rolls in order from shortest to longest onto the two cardboard rectangles.
- Taa Daa! Now you have your very own xylophone to play!
Mallets
- Glue 10 balls each to the pointy end of each of the chopsticks in a ball formation.
- Use your mallets to play your new xylophone!
