Instructions:
- You'll need a big open jumping area to get this game hoppin'! Count the children and lay paper plates on the ground -one for each of your guests!
- Explain the rules of the game to Sproutlets: The paper plates are the beds, and they are the monkeys! Encourage them to jump up and down on the "beds" while you all sing the traditional rhyme "__(number of Sproutlets) little monkeys jumping on the bed, one fell off and…" while an adult removes one, two, or three plates depending on the number of players. At the end of each verse, each child that is not on a plate is a monkey that fell off the bed. Assign a spot that you call the "doctor's office" where Sproutlets can watch and wait for the rest of the monkeys that fall off the bed!
